I BEG YOU...

The average straw is sipped for only 20 minutes but it can take over 200 years to break

down. Straws are very lightweight and often wind up in our oceans and on our beaches where they are
a danger to marine life. Plastics never biodegrade -- they just break into smaller and smaller pieces.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation predicts that by 2050 there will be more pounds of plastic than fish in
the ocean.
If Straws are doing this can you IMAGINE what all the rest of your plastic trash is doing?!

Please, I am begging all my readers at Ageless to see the film Plastic Ocean.
I sobbed during the whole film (but as decent human beings we MUST FACE THIS TOGETHER)…
Plastics are now one of the most common pollutants of ocean waters worldwide. Pushed by winds, tides and currents, plastic particles form with other debris into large swirling glutinous accumulation zones, known to oceanographers as gyres, which comprise as much as 40 percent of the planet's ocean ...

When you pile up your trash and throw it away it HAS TO GO SOMEWHERE.
we DO NO HAVE A PLANET B AND ITS HIGH TIME WE ALL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

I have not ever posted anything like this. Here at Ageless we are fun and upbeat.
But, as a caring person living and breathing on this earth I am completely compelled after all I have seen
and come to realize just how important it is that we all take responsibility and do our part and create less waste.
There is nothing fun and upbeat about polluted oceans and a toxic trash filled environment.
WE did this. WE can undo it!

If any of  you have children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews YOU MUST SEE THESE FILMS.

I PROMISE YOU BEYOND ANY DOUBT THEY WILL CAREFULLY AND FULLY SHOW YOU WHY IT’S SO IMORTANT TO HAVE LESS AND LESS WASTE
AND TO DO OUR PART TO RECYLCE and to PROTECT AND RESPECT OUR PLANET!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. AND MOTHER EARTH THANKS YOU TOO.

SIMPLE WAYS YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE RIGHT NOW…

1.    USE LESS
2.    BUY IN BULK
3.    Pay attention to how you use water!!!! (for example turn off the water while you brush your teeth)
4.    USE EARTH FRIENDLY CLEANING PRODUCTS
5.    Leave your car at home. ...
6.    Walk or ride your bike to work, school and anywhere you can. ...
7.    Recycle. You can help reduce pollution just by putting that soda can in a different bin. ...
8.    Compost!
And just imagine for one simple moment if YOU did that every day…and then your neighbor did that….
and your family and friends, and so on and so on……IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. IT IS THE DIFFERENCE.

SO PLEASE SEE THE FILMS SUGGESTED. P-L-E-A-S-E!

THE LITTLE FISH IN THE DEEP BLUE SEA THANK YOU.
THE BIRDS IN THE SKY THANK YOU
THE TREES AND THE FLOWERS AND THE BEES THANK YOU
AND FUTURE GENERATIONS THANK YOU
YOUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN WILL REAP THE RESULTS OF ALL OUR CONSIDERATE EFFORTS.

or any of the films mentioned.

THANK YOU AGELESS READERS!

Thanks for sharing this really important message with your readers. I agree that it can be overwhelming to face just how much environmental damage humans are responsible for, but that doesn't mean change isn't possible. Hope your post inspires others to make the little changes that do add up. (At a minimum, you've inspired me to get better informed on the topic with all your film and book recommendations!)

Since seeing the movie, Plastic Ocean, which disturbed me and inspired me into action, I am an avid advocate for eliminating plastics and fighting plastic pollution. I was ignorant and complacent like most of us before. Now, I recycle all plastics and try to avoid buying anything plastic. I always use to bring my own bags and will continue to do so as I have them in my car all the time. I am also talking to restaurants owners about the reduction of plastic straws or elimination, including utensils and plastic bags. I am making all of my friends and groups aware of the toxic effect of plastic pollution in our oceans and landfills. Please join the Movement... NO Plastic Straw Please!

This post is one of the most important of our lifetime. I am happy that you are concerned about plastic pollution as most of us have no clue about where our plastic trash goes and we just don't seem to care, at least some of us. You are such a caring person from reading so much of your posts in the past and to date. Please ask your readers to see the movie, Straws by Linda Booker. It is another great one to open our eyes. God bless you!
