The Stars Are Aligning…

For some time now I have wanted to be able to say… “See My Agent!” And, it looks like I am getting close…

Everywhere I go these days, I am surrounded by bright lights and pretty colors. I walk into the most unusually good karmic situations… like a festival of Chinese Lanterns, A Feast of the Saints, Rows of Flashing wands, and Stars galore! Something tells me an amazing, super fantastic, book deal is in my future.

A rock and roll mama

There is a new ageless wonder on the blog…


The decked out doll in the zebra print is Ageless Angie. Her son, Johnny A, is a guitar virtuoso. This makes Angie a real rock and roll mother! And she is quite stunning. At 77 years young, she dances, runs a pub, goes to gigs, and is still making new friends. Now that's Ageless.

She tells me “If I keep reading your blog, I’ll never get old!” My sentiments exactly.

TRUE COLORS...

She's back....
And I am not talking Cyndi Lauper, I am referring to Ageless Aunty. Here she is in Cyndi Lauper's new lipstick from M.A.C. ....Viva Glam Cyndi...

As we passed the cosmetic counter aunty immediately was drawn to this luscious, coral-red lipstick. She said, "I want that!" So, I bought it for her. She was so excited she had to open up the package and put the color on in the parking lot. She couldn't wait.

Like Miss Lauper, the lipstick, and the music.... Aunty sure remains Ageless~
I think she should be a cosmetic model too! Don't you?

On the way home we played Aunty's favorite Cyndi song, Girls Just Want to have Fun...

MY DOUBLE RAINBOW~

OH MY GOD...

For those of you who have not seen a double rainbow…

It’s astounding. I understand why YouTube sensation, Paul Vasquez flipped his lid when he saw one. Having just seen one my self, I can say his extreme reaction and awe is justifiable. The only way I can even begin to explain it is…

I felt like I was living out a verse of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds; Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, a girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Like Alice in Wonderland, everything around me was so vivid and colorful, yet, maybe not so logical.

Since I enjoy comparisons to The Wizard of Oz…this was the Emerald City. The Wizard pulled open the curtain and his work was fantastical~

Keep following this blog….something tells me there are more double rainbows ahead. It may be a bumpy yellow-brick road we are on, but, I’ve got ruby go-go boots and a magic wand. You’re in good hands.

HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND...

with friends and family earlier this summer

Summer is not over yet... get out and live it up. Or, sit quietly on the porch with a mint lemonade,  lavender ice-tea, or a cold beer. That's what I would do if I had a veranda.

This blog is still on vacation. Keep in mind, it's my blog that is taking a break, not me, as some of you thought. I am hard at work on my book proposal.

I will brew up a nice summer drink to help me along though... and like my potential agent, I will take the day off on Monday.

Any suggestions for an end of summer drink?
