EVERY DAY IS EARTH DAY!

Erratic weather, the melting glaciers, and the poisoned oceans...
Mother Earth is clearly telling us
it's time to make changes and save the planet!
We all need to know this NOW!

This is an invitation to change everything.

This September, world leaders are coming to New York City for a UN summit on the climate crisis. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is urging governments to support an ambitious global agreement to dramatically reduce global warming pollution.
With our future on the line and the whole world watching, we’ll take a stand to bend the course of history. We’ll take to the streets to demand the world we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for people and the planet; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.
To change everything, we need everyone on board.
Sunday, September 21 in New York City. Join us.

Also on the site: TAKE A LOOK AT THE FILM DISRUPTION
Disruption is an unflinching look at the devastating consequences of our inaction in the face of climate change -- and gives a behind-the-scenes look at a part of the effort to organize the People's Climate March.

This is real people! This is truly a threat and one we can do something about.
Make a stand and make changes in your life to help keep the planet healthy. Once we get Mother Earth back in balance....back in alignment....the world will truly keep improving on all fronts, for all people! We literally, really and truly have to clean up our act. I will participate in the march representing all of you Ageless Warriors who can not be there.

Thank you so much for listening and even more for doing your part to help keep the world vibrant and clean....prosperous and abundant.... exactly like it was made for us.
This guy has a family too

Even if you can't make the march in NYC you can still help!

Driving a car, using electricity to light and heat your home, and throwing away garbage all lead to greenhouse gas emissions. You can reduce emissions through simple actions like changing a light bulb, powering down electronics, using less water, and recycling. This site (link below) provides more than 25 easy steps you can take at Home, School, the Office, and On the Road to protect the climate, reduce air pollution, and save money. Take action today! Small steps add up, if we all do our part.

Maybe some day you can build a solar house...

Wow, this blog is now an activist blog for the world environment. I am impressed by your plead for Ageless readers to become Ageless warriors for Climate change. It affects all of us and our children and future generations whether we ignore it or not, or not interested as it is not your cause. Our future depends on what we, the world do now. Thank you for sharing the news, being passionate, and going to the march. You are just wonderful and caring!!!

My friend Daniel who first told me about the march says:

Whenever people take it upon themselves to take an action on behalf of a cause the universe supports it. Here is a Buddhist Parable that illustrates how the power of one can take on a cause and find the support that is needed to accomplish it…

A little bird illustrates what it takes to overcome a major obstacle. The bird’s attitude made all the difference when a lightning storm ignited the beautiful forest where it lived. Flying home one day the bird noticed all her animal friends were fleeing their homes. She urged them to stay and to bring water to fight the fire, but they ignored her plea and ran far away for their own safety. She loved her forest and didn’t want to see it destroyed. Flying to the nearest pond the bird flew over the fire with a beak full of water and dropped it. She did this time and time again but was making little headway. She grew increasingly tired from the smoke and flames taking a toll on her lungs and feathers. The bird didn’t know it at the time but she was about to have some good fortune. The protective deities of the universe were watching her altruistic act intently and felt increasing sadness about her declining condition. They began to weep and cry with deep compassion to the point that their tears fell to earth in torrents of rain and put the fire out. The story reminds us of the present state of our planet today. Do we ignore the condition it’s in and stay distracted by the daily war news or the state of the economy, or do we create an individual action plan like a power of one and do what we can do to restore our only home to a better state of health and safety for our children’s children.

I try to do my best EVERY day in so many little ways to help our Earth. It's still so hard to believe that there are so many people blind to the SCIENCE that there is something terribly wrong going on and we need to fix it... now! Thank you Renee and your followers for bringing attention to our world's plight!

Renee, you take your blog to another level. When I thought that I was having fun, now you remind me and us to do our part to save our only planet that sustains us. So sorry I cannot make the march, but I will continue to do my part in my home, work and community. March knowing that we are with you in spirit and in consciousness!

In the cycle of life we all get recycled. Recycle the bird, not the species. The earth smiles when you do your part even if it is as simple as putting that bottle in the right bin.
