YOU CAN TAKE HER WITH YOU...

 endless love

As it turns out just because aunty stopped breathing on Friday evening November 18, at 6:48 PM, my relationship with her has not ceased. To my surprise it continues to grow. I wanted to share this with the readers of Ageless to comfort anyone who has lost a loved one. And even if all your loved ones are fully alive, it doesn't hurt to be reminded not to take them for granted. Since Aunty passed I've been talking to other people who have lost someone they love. I am here to tell you that the reoccurring three words are, if only I…
You don’t have to let that happen to you.
And when those you love do pass on, you can take a little comfort in knowing that they will never be too far away. Aunty is everywhere I go. I'm not making this up. I am not crazy. I am sincerely and genuinely sharing my experience and what I discovered is true. Just one very small example (and there are many) is something that happened last night. I had just been sharing with a group of people how much I missed aunty, but that I knew she was close, and I knew she could see me and hear me. I also commented on how I had recently signed up for a stargazing class so I could see aunty in the sky. I have really been feeling this cosmic connection.
Then, on my way home I had to make a quick stop at the store. I went down an aisle I don't usually go down, and something immediately caught my eye. I saw stars. There was a beautiful greeting card right in front of me covered in stars. This is what was written:
In one of the stars I shall be living
In one of them I shall be laughing
And so it will be is if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night.
When you are open to being in a relationship with your loved one after they have passed that relationship will continue. They are always with you. And they are always watching you. Love is after all, eternal.
I get a myriad of signs all the time that my darling Aunty is not only with me and watching me, but really and truly still loves me! She keeps sending me presents from heaven.
I love her more each day. It’s as if I lifted her right out of the grave and took her with me… and she didn’t resist. She loves me so much!
P.S. i love you Uncle D. You will always be with me!

AGELESS ART

Deedee Hampton is one of my favorite artists by far! I discovered her ultra-fantastic work when I was looking for colorful and creative ways to enhance the look of my own blog. I remember coming across her paintings online and they really caused a reaction. I immediately was drawn to her colors, themes, and the overall feeling of her work. Her creations made me stop and reflect. They made me wonder. I enjoyed looking at them so much, I couldn’t get enough.
I would like to share some of her work with the readers of Ageless. Aunty too, enjoyed Deedee’s work. Sometimes I would bring Aunty into my office and after she watched the silly animal videos on YouTube, we would take some time to enrich ourselves with artwork. Aunty had a deep appreciation for art, nature, her fellow human beings, and all life. Many of you don't know this, but, she was an artist herself (and I will show you her work soon).  Like any good art, Aunty’s work, and Deedee’s too, is universal and timeless!
What do you feel when you look at Deedee’s creations? What do you like about them? What do they say to you? I love her choice of colors, and just the way she expresses herself so creatively.  I feel like she has captured a sliver of my own spirit, or, at times, like she is drawing the inside of my own mind! Her work is ageless.
Make a little time for some art in your day. Treat yourself to Deedee Hampton!

OH YOU'RE A HOLIDAY...

joined at the hip to my heart and soul
(aka) Aunty & Uncle D

I officially declare March 7th a holiday! Aunty was born March 7th 1924 in Hudson, New Hampshire. It doesn’t surprise me, given Aunty’s extraordinary karma, that Hudson, New Hampshire is also the home to the Life is Good Company!
Even more miraculous is that according to the wise yogi’s, Sharman, and meditators in my circle of friends…. I am still “in relationship” with Aunty. They got that right. Aunty follows me everywhere. She adored me so much in life that her love is simply carrying on. I sense it always. I know it instinctively, and I cherish it! This knowingness strengthens me. Aunty’s aura and angelic spirit lights up my life even more since her passing! I just did not see this coming. And, due to the true nature of real love... the more I open my heart to her the more of her undying love I receive!
Because Aunty and I continue to love each other exactly as we did while she was alive, it’s like she is still here. I talk to her.  I walk with her. I joke with her. And, now, instead of praying with her (which I must ad, she absolutely relished) I pray to her. And, yes, she answers me. Aunty’s love continues to be the ultimate blessing in my life!
Aunty at 86!

I am going out today and fully celebrate her birthday! She is happy and excited with my plans. I will sing to her, watch videos of her, bake a special cake for her, and toast champagne with good friends…all in Aunty’s name and in her honor.  I am even going to wear her perfume and spend the afternoon at her gravesite, reading to her and just being present. She is still the best company!
So, don’t be sad….be glad you have someone to love! And celebrate the love in your life today and always…. There is no better way to stay ageless….

SEEING AND BELIEVING!

If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it!

I was walking down the street thinking about Aunty, as I usually do. She was really on my mind. It was as if she were right there. This has been happening a lot lately. I started singing a song that I used to sing to her. I love you aunty, oh yes I do. I love you aunty, oh yes it's true. When you're not near me, I'm blue (but you are near me all the time). I sang that last part super-fast. Oh, Aunty, I love you! Then, right there in front of me… was this enormous heart embedded into the ground. It was written in stone (literally) that aunty surely heard me, and was clearly communicating back to me! I stood there feeling completely and utterly loved, just like I did when Aunty was alive.
Phenomenal incidences like this continue to happen.  I know Aunty is with me and always will be. This provides enormous comfort on many levels. Love never dies. When it's profound and deep it simply continues, even after death. Our loved ones do communicate from the afterlife. I lost my beloved Uncle D (Aunty's husband) in 2004. And, i know he has been trying to communicate with me. I have just been too busy taking care of Aunty ever since, to fully pay attention. But, now I will, because as my darling Aunty continues to appear, the enormous staying power of love becomes undeniably clear.
me and my shadow (aka Aunty)
Communicating with aunty like this is something I wasn't prepared for and did not expect. But I love being in her spiritual presence. Sharing such a profoundly wonderful experience with my readers makes me feel better (as I still grieve the physical loss of Aunty). I hope my sacred experience is something you can appreciate too.  Keep coming back because Aunty is here, and always will be. We know she has always been Ageless…now she is timeless! And, as always, blessing everyone with loving kindness.
A miraculous love...

A RED VELVET VALENTINE'S DAY...

Two Dozen Red Velvet Roses

This Valentine's Day was extra special. I received two dozen of the most most exquisite roses and a magnificent jewelery box! It felt like double-love! My Valentine even gave me a home made card with a little poem. I had been missing Aunty so much and sad that she wasn't here on the special day we honor LOVE. Aunty especially loved all the candy, chocolate, and cards I would bestow on her every February 14th. But, being the recipient of such generous and romantic gifts really uplifted me. I made my Valentine a delicious and healthy meal and presented him with a watch he had been wanting for a long time. We shared some Red Velvet Cake for dessert.

If it's okay with you, I would like to remind my readers that it is in giving that we receive. For as much as I enjoyed and appreciated my gifts, it was so much more fun and fulfilling to see my deserving guy so happy! I even got Aunty a gift too. And due to the power of giving,  I recieved one back from her!
My next post will reveal how my Angel Aunty actually was able to give me a Valentine's gift that I will never ever forget. Here at Ageless... I hope to keep my readers aware that we are all deserving, and that when we stay open, aware, and grateful...
gifts keep coming!

I have been told this blog is a gift.
~Thank you~
