THE WORLD IS OUR STAGE

I make a habit of living fully in the moment and luckily it’s paying off. I call this blog Ageless because, aunty and I have been fortunate to have a great deal of love in our life, and take good care of each other. Our clean living is paying off. No one has ever guessed our actual age. The fact that I have my trademark chutzpah helps too. I don’t hear no. I never sit in the back row. I always find my way to the front and often backstage. In this case, on the stage! At a recent performance of the Donkey Show, I was so in the moment, the music and the setting just lifted me into the realm of pure fun. At one point, I jumped on stage and started dancing with one of the characters from this fantastical piece of live theatre!

We all know there is more than enough pain and suffering around us. Any chance we get to create, or dive into pure unadalatured fun… I say we should embrace it head on. Don’t just go though the motions > Star in your own life! There is plenty of room up here for you. The world is your stage too. Don’t let me (and the guy in the bikini) have all the fun.

Aunty on Drums


Aunty is going to be 86 Ageless years next week, March 7th, (the night of the Academy Awards) to be exact. We are thinking of ways to celebrate. After 85 birthday cakes, she tells me she wants to try something new. She is thinking of starting a band. Here she is playing the drums…with her fake cig, her purple gloves, and her sunglasses. She’s such a hepcat!

If anyone has any ideas for what to call her new group let us know. I like the name Love-Nest! That gets my vote. But my sister likes the Rolling Bones. As for Aunty, she prefers to do a take on the Grateful Dead, and call herself Grateful 2 b Alive.

We are thinking of sending this pictures to Hollywood. Maybe she can try out for Ageless Idol!!! You never know. She keeps proving to me that anything is possible. And, we do know one thing for sure… this picture validates that it is never too late for ANYTHING! Way to go Aunty… What an inspiration you are…

CELEBRATE LIFE...

BE MERRY!

Celebrate the holidays! We mean really celebrate! Ageless Aunty (born in the early part of the last century) dances daily. She bops around our smiling Christmas tree. While looking for some Eggnog, I found her dancing with a handsome young man in the supermarket! She assures me, “Dancing makes me happy.” And here we are merry making in the lobby of a museum (Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, New Hampshire after their Candlelight Stroll). I would like to thank piano player, Mr. Don Fancy, an ageless and talented musician.

With the longest to-do-list imaginable, I still find time to gambol. Aunty and I often begin our day with glee. We get up and dance (and count our blessings that we can)! This time of year we groove to Run Run Rudolph, and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time. During the warmer months we promenade to Garth Brooks, with one of Aunty’s favorite songs, Two Pina Coladas. Dancing is undoubtedly one of the easiest ways to stay ageless. Get up and shake some good energy around. Ageless Aunty promises amazing results.
